Check Fit with the Actual Pallu
Put on the blouse with the support layer you intend to wear. Sit, reach forward and lift an arm. The neckline should lie comfortably, the closure should not pull, and the shoulder should stay in place once the saree is pinned. A shiny finish can make folds and pulling more noticeable, so do not choose a smaller size just to make the blouse look fitted.
